Horror RPG Dead Island launched two years ago, hyped in part beforehand by a unique cinematic trailer. Critically, the game was a success on everything but PC, where it suffered serious technical issues, which were slowly alleviated over time.

You're probably wondering then whether or not its sort-of sequel Dead Island: Riptide suffers the same fate. Read on for a light technical analysis where I'll reveal just that for you.
