As noted in my review, 4A Games' atmosmpheric shooter Metro: Last Light boasts strong visuals and performance and a reasonable amount of graphics options. Unfortunately a good amount of them are hidden (most notably Ambient Occlusion, Analytical AA, and a couple of Shadow options), but if you're keen on fiddling with the ones that are there and seeing how they affect visuals and performance, this tweak guide is for you.
One setting that won't be covered in this guide is field of view, as I've already covered that in a separate guide which you can see here.
Test Setup
The benchmark included in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Last Light (seen in action above) served as the basis for testing with this guide; multiple tests were run to avoid anomalies skewing results. Note some subsettings -- such as the different levels of SSAA -- were skipped, as options for them are not included in the benchmark.
