3v-12v Adjustable Charger?

Not really a charger, butt an adjustable output power supply - so it would plug into DC jack inputs and whatnot. Shouldn't be a bad choice provided it has the output voltage and current, I just have a bin of spares and usually have the voltage/current I'm looking for instead of needing an adjustable one.

I also have a bin of spares but most (all?) of them are 12v and for this particular recharging LED light I need 5v. For $16 I figured what the h-e-l-l.

This is a nice LED flood light that was in the safe/storm room when we moved here three years ago. But alas, no charger cord.

There are also sets of charger adapter tips you can get for switching them around - this one sort of comes with them already, but useful in case you run into manufacturers using weird sizes on theirs. The only thing it wouldn't protect against is stupid reverse polarity configurations - power on the outside and ground on the center.

I got the one I linked above and worked on my light pretty well. So far that's all I've used it on.
