Package Contents

The AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.11.2 installation package contains the following:
  • AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.11.2 Driver Version 22.20.29.10 for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 (Windows Driver Store Version 31.0.12029.10015)

Ill try and include this next time...

Ya this close I wouldve thought this would have been a set of drivers for it...

OOOH Driver timeout fixes....im hoping that specific criteria was not the only ones it managed to fix (cuz i get timeouts, but not under those specific criteria)
I managed to work around driver timeout issues by disabling hardware acceleration in my web browsers

No issues so far for my 6600XT. But my gaming time as mostly been gobbled up by Fornite and playing with the new UE 5.1 powering it :D

They used to indicate on the driver page if it was optional or whql now it just says driver and then they switched to whql after a while using the same link... its a bit odd but amd has a lot of beta drivers compared to nvidia who only have official releases of late.

This is an nvidia tweet so 'game supported' claim is probably mostly marketing. Im sure all games work fine on most cards.

I don't think the "optional" tag means beta in the real beta term.

You can sign up/apply for betatesting for AMD, and and I think those drivers are not the same as the ones labeled "optional".

Ya Ive not had any issue with radeon drivers whether they are optional or whql in the last couple years. Not surprised to see an nvidia exec call them beta even tho they perform perfectly well.
