Artifacting during games

Not sure if due to age, heat, or something else I've been noticing some minor artifacting under load. Is this solvable with a mere repaste or is it time to consider selling plasma to get a new card?

Noticed in Elite Dangerous, Doom. Not seen in Baldur's Gate 1/2, Planescape EE, and other older games. Don't think it happened in The Division either.

Most recent drivers. Wattman enabled to manually adjust fans which are set at 2000 or 2100 RPM constant. I do need some form of monitor to keep an eye on GPU temps readily though.

Stock clocks? Stock volts?

If stock, try bumping clocks down 50Mhz on both core and mem and see what it does. It could be a weakening VRM, dying shader cluster.. ?
