Big Advanced WU?

OK, so I'm, as usual, confused about Folding@home, PPD, performance, WU rules, etc, etc.

I picked up a i7-2600k a while back and OC'd it to 4.5Ghz. When I installed F@H on the box I had setup the "client-type" to "bigadv" even though I knew that they had changed the rules and I wasn't going to get any of these WU.

Well... lo and behold last night I picked up an A5_6900 WU. I don't see that they change the rules again for these WU so I guess it's a mistake? Or maybe I pick this up from a server that is not configured with the new rules?

The other thing to note is that the OC'd 2600K is on par with a dual socket quad core with HT Xeon server running at 2.4Ghz. I would not have expected that at all. Right now the 2600K is running at an estimated PPD of just over 50K. :-)

the 6900 is one of the last 8 core work units left... and though they said 8 core systems' bigadv cutoff was jan 16 or after, they really meant "or after" :)
