I have a PC with the following equipments:
K7-500,ASUS K7-RM,64M KTI(PC100)+128M GL2000(PC133),Xpert2000(32M),Diamond S100(value),ASUS 40*,
DiamondMax VL40 40GB.
And now I want to have it updated, can you give me some suggestions?

Your system looks pretty good. One thing you should do if you play games is upgrade your vid card. The Xpert 2000 is OK but you're missing out by not having a Radeon 32 or 64 DDR.

I would say get a Radeon 32DDR, and wait a little bit longer before you upgrade the rest.

Hope you didn't pay too much extra for the PC133, as it's not being used.

Don't know if the HDD is 7200 RPM, but if it isn't no biggie.

You might think about getting the Creative Audigy and surround speakers when they come out in the summer.

Get a 19" or even a 21" monitor (SONY IS BEST) if you have he cash.

Like Juicy said, you system looks pretty good, I would concentrate on peripherals for a while. Think UPS.

Those were some nice suggestions. The only addition I have to give is that the gaming industry has not begun to catch up to the hardware we have now. If you were to go out and buy a AMD T-Bird 1_2 G w/512 ram and a Radeon 64DDR, you would kick your self when the next gen of games come out and you cant even begin to run them. I would wait until a game comes out Like Unreal or Half-Life and changes the industries snail-like progresion.

True, but the Radeon improves the curent generation of games. The 64MB DDR isn't needed as the extra RAM isn't used, though it will be for the Radeon 2.

That's also why I recommend getting solid peripherals that will last a while.

I would say everything else is good for 1-2 years.
