Does anyone else miss Fight Night?

I do. I was just thinking about fight night the other night wanting to play it.

Since Grab Ass UFC took over in popularity we will probably never see another fight night again.

Yeah, they always where a graphical showcase. How awesome would it be if they came up with a new one with cutting edge tech

Just play the old one
The way EA makes their sports game a new one is probably not going to be all that much different than those older ones.

Fight Night.... nah homey, Evander Holyfield Boxing on the Genesis.... that is where it was at. Or even Buster Douglas....

:bleh:

I think the last one I played was around the Xbox 360 and I did enjoy it, but I can honestly say that I think Madden 2003 may have been the last sports game I've bought or played....

With EA Play coming to Xbox game pass that might change, but.... considering the memes about how crappy they've become, who knows.

I loved Evander Holyfield Real Deal Boxing so much

EA misses boxing so much they're putting Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in the new UFC game :bleh:

EA unfortunately missed the ball and has no plan in bringing back Fight Night, despite the fact the series sold well and there were no shortage of fans. Some idiot fell into the mentality that UFC was going to be bigger than boxing (it never was) and thus cancelled the series in favor of UFC moving forward. Nevermind that due to popularity they needed to put Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury, and Anthony Joshua in a UFC game to sell more copies.

Fortunately, Eddie Hearn is working to bring a true major mainstream boxing game back for the public.

Of all the boxing games I've played since the 80's, I'd say as far as realism 4D Sports Boxing for PC was probably the best. It had a flow mechanic superior to any of the the fight night games. As far as fun to play and arcade, hands down that was Mike Tyson's punchout. Center Ring Boxing for Sega Saturn was great as well.

dam you would remember it, even more so than me lol

i miss the 80s

me too, the 80s were such a great time. And my first computer was a c64. First bought game was Ghostbusters
