Hey!
I recently found out that the new emulator ePSXe can run FF IX. Well, I went out and rented the game, and to my surprise it does run! Very well, in fact! The only problem is that when it's about to go into a fight it slows down to about .3 fps! No joke! It takes about 10-15 secs before it goes into the battle sequence. After it gets into the battle sequence it works fine. Any ideas as to why it does this? I've tried the Software, D3d, and OGL plugins, and a combination of CDROM and Sound plugins!
I would go out about buy a PS1, but I'm trying to get a PS2 at the moment, so I don't wanna waste money on an old technology!
