Football World Cup 2022

France is going to win it. Not that I particularly want them to win ... but they have more match-winning players in their team.

If I were a betting man I would wager some money on them.

Croatia would be the safer bet. Morocco has to take down France to get there. This is a much bigger obstacle than Portugal. Argentina has a way of self destructing pretty regularly. But France is way too experienced to melt like that.
 
I want Argentina v France final.
I am all for supporting underdogs but these are the better teams. I hope that Argentina can hold their crap together.

You got your wish. Morocco can hang their head very high. They created some great chances today against the reigning champions. They really were the Cinderella story of this World Cup. Now on to what looks to be a great final.
 
Yes they did good. Seems yesterday the team didn’t play well though. They had their chances but nothing converted.

Watch that YouTube I posted on them if you haven’t already. Their coach is pretty genius. And, he just started in August!
 
I know. I am OK with them being 3rd. I want Argentina to win. I like France but Argentina has been losing so long, I think it should be their chance to win now.
 
I work for a Brazilian company so it's against company policy to root for Argentina :bleh:

What a great game! France comes to life in the 70th minute to tie the game with two goals in a minute and a half sending it to extra time. Messi scores in extra time to potentially seal the win. Only for Argentina to give up an unlucky penalty at the end of extra time to let France back in and give Mbappe a hat trick. And then, the guy who gives up the penalty kick at the end of extra time, steps up to the mark in the penalty shootout with a chance to win it for Argentina and sinks it. So much drama. That was amazing. Messi is the GOAT. But, Mbappe is only 22 years old and has a GOAT worthy start to his amazing career.
 
Mbappe is turning 24 on Tuesday. He is already on second World Cup if I have the stats right. The guy gave his all.
 
Mbappe is just in a class of his own at the moment. The game was awesome and such a emotional rollercoaster, i was rooting for Argentina to win from the start of the world cup and my nerves were shot yesterday but so glad Messi could win a world cup
