FSAA in Direct 3D

Dose anyone get very bad graphics when running in Direct3D apps. I cant install the new drivers because it wont let me I get a Blue screen when I start up. I've disabled AGP in Dxdiag. Thats the only way I can get it to run in Direct3D apps. If anybody Has a solution please tell me.

Motherboard-Tyan Trinity ATX (S1598)
Graphics Card-Radeon 64MB VIVO-Overclocked to 205/225
Sound Card-Sound Blaster Live Value
Memory-128MB of Ram
It dose the same thing overclocked and underclocked by the way.
 
Depends what you mean by d3d apps. If by that you mean games, yes the drivers are messed up. I have had reasonably good luck, there are still graphical anomalies in the menus, but the game is usually fine. I have had similar troubles with d3d in windows since I had a previous video card installed. The only way I could fix this was to reinstall Win 98, erasing all trace of previous drivers. You may be able to simply remove the old hardware and reinstall directX, but I had to reinstal.
 
Don't count on it too much. ATI acknowledged the problems with their driver's, but last time I communicated with them a few days ago there was no planned fix. I was told that FSAA was not their main concern and they didn't know when the FSAA problems would be addressed.
 
ATI never intended to use FSAA. they focused on high res/high color gaming. They only implemented FSAA (albeit rather badly)because other graphics cards had it.
