So I'm always looking for computers at work to up my PPD a little and i came across a few video cards yesterday. Instead of letting a spare dual core machine chug away at SMP WU's i decided to pop one of these cards in.

At first i tried the 4850, but after not getting any WU's and then doing some research i pulled it.

Then i dropped this crappy little Nvidia G210 in. It's completing WU's about every 7 hours but the problem is the PPD keeps showing as unknown or 0.

I tried updating to the newest beta .52 but that didn't help either. I checked the logs from one of the finish WU's and it is showing "Final credit estimate, 419.00 points" I just don't understand why the client isn't picking up on it.

Anyways if that's true then I'm pushing maybe 1200-1300 ppd. With the SMP i was getting around 2000 if i recall, so i may switch back anyways.

Has anyone else run into the PPD not displaying correctly for video cards? I thought version .52 was suppose to fix that.

You know what i take back what i said about the log showing "Final credit Estimate" I went back to far in the logs and was looking at an SMP WU.

Once the upload is finished there's no mention of credit what so ever, so thats why it's reading 0 or unknown.

Now the question is why I'm not getting any credit.

So I'm guessing that you are not getting something along the lines of this in the log?

I'm sorry about the delay, we had an 8 hour power outage at my work. After working 28 hours i just now woke up from a nap :P

I'm postive all it said was UPLOAD COMPLETE, and then some info below about the WU it was working on. No mention of credit or failures or anything.

I will get the exact log tomorrow.

My log shows exactly what you've pasted except for the credit estimate.

Looking back at some of the SMP WU's this machine has finished they logs look just like yours WITH the credits.

Theres just no indication at all of why i'm not getting points for these. I think I'll have to move this over to the F@H boards.
