I was just about to ask how in the world you got Rise of the Tomb Raider to run great at 4k and 8xSS, when I couldn't do it with the exact same hardware and faster CPU speed.

But then I saw it was running at 19fps. Nevermind. :p

Still though, great upgrade! It struggles a little in 4k, but at 1080P it's a powerhouse.
 
Jeez, this card is quite the room space heater.

I don't think my case interior and cpu temps have ever been this warm.

There is something to be said about video card designs that pump air directly out the back metal slot. (this one does not, it just fans hot air into the case)

yes you need a case with lots of 140mm fans for side fan cards
