Going on now for 6th year! I hope it has helped you as it helped me keeping my backlogs in check while enjoying my games.

Not every month someone will be finishing a lot, as there are months where a person just can't finish anything. Then you got that streak going in another month.

Also, if you plan to replay the game, it is fine but don't repeat it at a later month as first completion is what counts.

Another thing is the criteria of what is considered completed in unclear games such as team based multiplayer games; I would say set a target for that. E.g. I considered Overwatch completed when I reached level 100. Or when I finished story mode (which was a long movie sequence) in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. You decide what you consider is completed as long as it is reasonable to a certain extend and correlate-able to a single player experience.

DLC completed at a separate time from the main game and has enough content (+1 hour) can be counted as a separate completion.

Console completions can be accepted as long as the main focus is still PC overall.

Completed Games:
720-Street Fighter 6
721-Diablo 4

Again, apologies for the delay. Been a strange month. With that said, here is my completions:

- Street Fighter 6: Taking back the throne as the best fighting game (from Strive) and by far. The game is quite amazing. So good that we have 3 copies at home ><. I consider completed as I finished World Tour and most of the side quests. I played a ton of online which I will continue to play throughout the coming months.

- Diablo 4: I did not expect it to be this good. Reflecting back to Diablo 3 release, Blizzard did it right and this game was the reason for me to reinstall Battle.Net (unfortunately). Finished the campaign and most of the side stuff before end of June. Most of July was spent reaching 100 and gearing my Necromancer. I just killed Uber Lilith too! (Bone Spear FTW! Wasn't easy though still!). Looking forward to see what Season 1 has to offer.

3 for me

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Diablo IV, Aliens: Dark Descent

No worries on the delay. Thanks for doing the thread again

You made us wait two weeks for this thread! Do you know how painful it's been to have to keep to myself, for two whole weeks, the amount of games I finished in June?

DO YOU?!

(The amount is zero. That's why it hurts.)

Happy to wait and again, grateful to you for doing this for us.

Death by Numbers - Indifferent puzzle game with a pretty bad detective story. Free on Epic this coming week.
Halo 2 - Why are the Halo games so loved? This one was really uneven and I was very glad to have it finished.
Wanderer - A decent VR puzzle adventure. Some dodgy physics and puzzles stopped t from being great but still worth my time.
Cat Quest - Silly and shallow action RPG.

So four, and not very impressive ones at that.

1.

Distance. Played the campaign in Early Access but played it again this month.

Made the mistake of starting up X4 Foundations and was stuck on that for quite a bit. Sort of a neverending game with lots of waiting and bullshit, etc. 97 hours of that with much accomplished but nothing to nail to the completion board.

After all my b*tching and whining to get this month's list up .... zero yet again.

Seriously, I have to get back to at least 1 game in July, this is getting embarrassing.

Beat two games in June. Far Cry 6 and TitanFall 2.

Just finished Subnautica: Below Zero for July and now doing another play through of Mafia: Definitive Edition.

One game:

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - Played with friends in co-op and it was a fun experience for that. From a technical standpoint it is arguably the best Mech simulation game ever. The crafted missions were decent to good, but the procedural;y generated missions were pretty lackluster. Fortunately after all the expansions there is a fair amount of crafted content for the game, although some of it ends up being kind of formulaic. I do feel like the missions from MW2 and particularly MW2: Mercenaries tended to be more inspired and creative. I was particularly disappointed that we didn't get a Solaris VII tournament in this game like there was in MW2: Mercs. Also the lancemate AI is pretty bad. If you can, play in co-op because having real people is a lot more fun than dealing with the shoddy AI, although it also makes much of the game not that challenging. On the whole, I'd give the game a 8/10 as a co-op experience. As a single player it would probably only be a 7/10.
