Going on now for 6th year! I hope it has helped you as it helped me keeping my backlogs in check while enjoying my games.

Not every month someone will be finishing a lot, as there are months where a person just can't finish anything. Then you got that streak going in another month.

Also, if you plan to replay the game, it is fine but don't repeat it at a later month as first completion is what counts.

Another thing is the criteria of what is considered completed in unclear games such as team based multiplayer games; I would say set a target for that. E.g. I considered Overwatch completed when I reached level 100. Or when I finished story mode (which was a long movie sequence) in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. You decide what you consider is completed as long as it is reasonable to a certain extend and correlate-able to a single player experience.

DLC completed at a separate time from the main game and has enough content (+1 hour) can be counted as a separate completion.

Console completions can be accepted as long as the main focus is still PC overall.

Completed Games:
0!

May was a strange month. I started a bunch of new games and even went back to play Lost Ark, but casually. Also did a lot of CoD and BF2042. Started Atomic Heart and still need to finish Wo Long. So been busy but nothing completed. Also some IRL stuff too.

Only 1 for me.

Star Wars Jedi Boner.

btw MNB we gotta play SF6. I need to play with someone who will kick my ass so I git gud.

This year I have a low count, but these are big games.

1 for May.

Everspace 2. 50 hours, roughly, to finish the campaign with many but not all sidequests. All of the extra stuff after the game ends should count as a 2nd game! Maybe for June's tally.

Piece of advice for anyone with this game: Don't worry too much with puzzles and exploring until you get a faster, more manuverable ship. Makes a huge difference.

Claiming eight this month;
W40K Sanctus Reach - Been playing this some time and in the end it took 143hrs to beat all the campaigns. A solid strategy title.
Hiding Spot - Short puzzle game from the creator of Bonfire Peaks. Some clever levels.
Inner World The Last Wind Monk - Fun Point n Click though not as good as the first game.
Beyond Blue - Dull and kind of pointless.
Project Cars 2 - Potentially loads more to do but I'd done enough to be ready to move on.
Lost in Play - Fun, cartoonish puzzle game.
Voodoo Detective - A couple of naff puzzles but mostly solid P'n'C.
Airborne Kingdom - Lightweight (lighter than air) city builder.

Also Teacup and Daymare Stray but both were too short to be worth counting.

I recently went on a Half-Life spree. Technically that started with Half-Life 2 in April, but I forgot to mention it in the previous thread, so you can just count it here. As it turned out, I hadn't played the Episodes in a decade. Finished HL Alyx twice in the last few years, and finished Black Mesa a while ago, but I had skipped replaying the Half-Life 2 games. That was something that needed setting right.

In the interim, I finished Prey: Mooncrash, the DLC expansion to Prey 2017. Prey is one of my all-time favorite games, a phenomenal immersive sim, a fantastic maze of slow-burning intrigue. For years, I figured the DLC could never stand up to that, especially as it has roguelite/roguelike elements that I don't usually like. However, I had to admit I couldn't just ignore Mooncrash altogether, I had to see if "More Prey but Different" would get my juices flowing again. And I must say, completely contrary to my expectation, it absolutely did. It's exactly as immersive as Prey '17 is, exactly as smooth to play, exactly as fascinating, and it's even got that similar difficulty up/down/up/down spike as the original - without ever becoming too easy or too difficult. I am very happy I played it.

So count these four for me:
* Half-Life 2 (technically April, but fine to count in May)
* Half-Life 2: Episode One
* Half-Life 2: Episode Two
* Prey: Mooncrash

4 for me

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Amnesia: The Bunker, Firmament, Planet of Lana

Finished 4 games in May. Red Dead Redemption 2, Metroid Prime Remastered, Portal 2, and Crysis 3.

Now playing Far Cry 6 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Now I'm just worried if MNB4800 is ok. Hopefully just some IRL issues and nothing serious.

Probably just busy I've seen them in Diablo 4 recently. And with the site being wonky its kinda understandable.

Hi guys, sorry for the longest holdup! It has been mostly life stuff (social and work, turning 40 recently is weird and still adjusting). Nonetheless, June thread should be up.

Thanks for the concern and wish you all the best!

It is amazing how time flies since I made the post. Sorry for lack of response mate. Hit me up with you want a beating. I got you!
