How can I get the most out of my RAM?

Windows 98 can handle up to 512, after that you need a registry hack

For normal users it maxes out at 192 meg of ram. Go to one of the 98 tweakers sites and find the switch to force 98 to use the ram first. It should be in the win.ini file I believe. Also, double yer swap file to at least 256/256 min/max. Unless you use things like photoshop, you won't see a heck of alot of performance after 192 meg of ram. If you have 2 drives, put the swap file on the second drive.
