Monitors

I have two monitors, one glorious Nokia, and a Philips 107S . With the last one I have serious problems with coloured patches, in particular on the right bottom corner a pink one and on the right side (just over the pink) an annoying gray band. I was told that it's possible to correct the problem (degauss doesn't apply any improvement). Is it the truth or should I have to change it?
Any suggestion appreciated. Thx.

The problem is more evident after 15-20 min the monitor is turned on.

I doubt it, inless you're a monitor technician...though if you were, you'd probably already know how to fix it...

Take it to a shop, monitors are no fun to fix...

Don't ever try to fix it yourself unless you want to see the light of tomorrow.

Monitors

Thanks for your answers guys. I could change it because of the warranty, but my dialer has only LG monitors left. Let's see how they are...

Technically you can change monitors even with different brands, but I think it depends on customer's police. I had a look at LG monitors and they are terrible!!! Focus problem and grayed colours. LCD are a little better, but too expensive for the quality they offer. I kept my Philips, but I think that I will change it in few months with another Nokia (Warm colour and great quality)

Bye...
