Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

I had the chance to play it early, and it is quite good and I recommend it. Very similar to Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Combat in TLC is better than Ori, but most other things are better in Ori. Decent boss fights, world is cool. Solid 8/10 game

I've been a long time fan of POP. Played the '89 original, Sands of Time trilogy, 2008 reboot and Forgotten Sands. Don't think this one is for me though.

I see the game play videos. Looks good.

But I would have loved a the old way (Original POP, or POP Sands of TIme). Loved those!

Im down for trying the new style. I also loved both the original and sands of time. I also enjoyed other game too, the one that seemed like it was pretty unpopular. Never was a fan of the sands of time sequels though. Sand of time was epic.

I've just read that it's voiced in Farsi which is something I like. After Assassins Creed using Arabic it will be interesting to see if the trend continues.
With action games I can see that having to read subtitles can be an issue but I think using native language can go a long way toward immersion and certainly bad accents is distracting. I'm currently playing Martha is Dead in Italian and was a big fan of Never Alone with the Inupiaq storytelling. I even managed to catch a few words of the Japanese in Yakuza.

That is pretty cool. I always try the native language to the game (most of the time that means what ever language the devs use), but i find that a lot of action games i really struggle, and cant use the subs. I do wonder how hard it would be to semi learn the languages through playing the game with no subs :D

I like it, it has one thing that keeps it from being a top tier search action game, the soundtrack isn't good.

A proper search action game has a memorable soundtrack.

How strange, I never had any bugs outside of getting caught on platforming edges.

How strange, I never had any bugs outside of getting caught on platforming edges.

I had my fill of them, two quest givers/npcs soft lock me, making me redo some really annoying platforming sections, and one of them was supposed to be fixed by the last patch.

Some of the bugs like boss fights missing their music got fixed, but not before I had the pleasure of encountering them, I also had a boss suddenly becoming invulnerable in their last phase, but that was no biggie as you can just redo it without losing any real progress.

TBH, the pirate quest soft lock really soured me on the whole game as lost almost an hour of progress, as I had not bothered to save in a while as I was just doing some post game clean up.

The latest patch finally took care of most if not all of the issues that I ran into.

So feel free to buy it if you like platform heavy search action games.

Thats great to hear. This is one im looking forward to playing, so bugfree tm would be nice :D
