Radeon Ark Demo Error

Hey guys, when i try to play the radeon;s ark demo for good old times sake, i get this error....

"Radeons ark has genorated errors and will be closed by windows. You need to resat the program."

whats going on?!?

here are my specs:

win2ksp2
Dx8.1 NEw ver
latest unoffical Ati drivers
Radeon32ddr...
512DDR2100

At least that you've got enough memory. It's a hog for it (can I really say that?) Also set the virtual memory to at least 400MB.

I'm not sure but is it designed to be run under w2k? I have a lot of software (games mostly) that run flawlessly under win98 but throw exactly that error on w2k. Dunno, can't test it here...
 
It works in Win2k now, but it didn't always. If you have enough virtual memory set, then the only thing I can think of is to reinstall it.

Maybe the new win2k drivers along with the new DX8.1 beta may be screwing it up...

Anyone out there who has what i just claimed and it works?!?!?!?
 
i had a thing where the loading bar would load maybe 1 cm, then it would quit back to windows. I re-installed it and it ran fine. I was using Windows 98 SE when i got this proplem, but you should still try re-installng it
