Rage Mobility -P and Everquest

I have a dell inspiron 5000 laptop with an ati rage mobility -p 8 mb vid card and when running Everquest the 3d modeling looks aweful.I was told that Open GL and glide and Direct 3d are all compatible, but that Everquest is a Particular problem.Also was told I could try using a Glide Wrapper. Does anyone know what I could do to fix this problem to view Everquest properly?
 
So far have not had any answers or luck.Maybe in the furture there should be 3dfx Voodoo cards for Laptops.I'd sure switch.
