I just pumped the OC to 4.8 @ 1.352 Volts.
Is this to high?

I am wondering if I should try 5.0?
Temps max at 65c

this thing is really pissing me off. i'm at 4568mhz at 1.44v, hitting 75c on an h80...

folding + youtube is the ultimate stability test. it worked fine at 4.82ghz until i started watching youtube videos...

PM me your email and I will add it to the collaborator list.

If your ok with that.

I could not get 5.0 even at 1.41 volts. so I backed off to 1.360 and 4.8.

Short Duration power limit 180
Long Duration power limit 180
Long maintained power limit 230

they work fine.

the 180/180/230 are short term peak watts, long term peak watts, and max amperage.

with an awesome cooler, i wouldn't recommend any wattage setting beyond 130, and amperage max of 100. also spread spectrum seems to not impact stability.

i think my problem might be enabling load line calibration. it's great for maintaining voltage under load, but it seems some are saying it may cause more instability than too little voltage.

i haven't played around with pll overvoltage. i have no idea what a pll is, much less what a safe overvoltage amount is.

I think any thing over 75 24/7 is a bit much
volts i try to keep 1.4 or lower and watch the vrm temp if on water.
but i have run a i7 for over a year at 1.475 with no prob, point of sale pc lol

i hear over 1.4 wil degrade the chip for what that is worth, guess if you are gona keep it 10 years other wise 1.5max
been ocing chips and folding a long time and the only chip i ever blew up was a tbird 1000 and blew the back of the board out oops suicide run :D

i hate throtle controls kinka like having a new hotrod with wot control(really) .they are my tires and i can burn em up if i want to0 dam warranty control and your trans . lol

I once blew a P2 apart. When I took the case off it all the little surface mount chips just fell out. hehe. Thankfully I was upgrading at the time when I clocked the nuts off it.
