Starter bike?

i've seen people ride their (heavy) bikes in mid winter (with snow and all that). Boggles my mind every single time i think about it.

And it was time for a new one. Scored a 2015 Yamaha V Star 950 with a few extras and only 1050 miles for $6k all in.

Nice I need to change up the Honda cbr250r here. Go for a road bike as I dont like the sportbike bend forward sitting position. Nothing too big just a 500-600 cc road bike for some local road trips. Maybe a dual maybe next year... gonna take awhile to shop it.

I was all set to take the motorcycle safety class a couple of years ago (Mother was very unhappy) and had planned on getting a Triumph Street Scrambler, Street Twin, & later changed to an entry level Ducati after realizing the Triumphs might have bene too much bike to start on.

Three days before the class a distracted driver in a mustang plowed into the back of my v-hickle. I had to cancel the class obviously, though my back only hurt for a few days. I took it as a sign that mother was right & I should avoid motorcycles.

I started to get the itch again last year and was thinking about "just taking the course for fun" but then pandemic hit. I don't think I'm meant to ride motorcycles. I'll probably get a Camaro SS someday instead.
