Steam Replay

I'm guessing a new feature, I've certainly never had it before but Steam has just posted some stats for my past years gaming, number of titles, % time on key titles etc.
Some key figure for me were 1366 achievements unlocked against an average of 21 and 216 games played in the year against an average of 5.
That last figure surprised me. I guess a lot of players stick to one or two favourite games.
It reinforces that I spend far too much time gaming, as if my completion numbers didn't already show that.

I played 34 games on steam and 79% were from this year. It seems most people don't play many games and most games are actually older than a year.

The five games thing doesn't really surprise me. I'd guess the average gamer probably doesn't play much at all. Maybe only a few games per year. And then there's a lot of people who also play the same multiplayer game all the time and nothing else.

I was surprised to see that I played 39* different games this year, even though the number was padded out a little bit by VR games I loaded and played for only short sessions.

*Strangely the image saved says 40 games, but the actual page only says 39 games.

Some of my data may be skewed since Baron taught me how to idle my old games to milk them off their valuable steam cards. The list of most played games, though, is accurate.
