Does anyone know of any standards or studies on recommended quality of service thresholds?
I can remember looking at this a few years ago and it was recommended that pages should return in less than 2 seconds and that no page should take longer than 8 seconds to render for the user, but that users would generally wait longer for information of value to them.
However with greater broadband adoption it seems likely that they would be different now.
Any ideas?
