Welcome the new addition to the folding family!

I added a classic to my low-end folding farm. The original benchmark folding system, a P4 2.8, ripped right out of a laptop. I currently got the mobo/cpu folding on the floor, using NotFred's diskless folding on a USB stick. Always can find a use for old computers.

I noticed it is currently folding a 473 pointer. I had assumed it would get the 69 pointers, as my Athlon rig does. With a deadline of 8 days this may be iffy. On what criteria do WUs get assigned to computers anyways? I find that my systems tend to get the same WUs, but each individual system gets unique projects from one another. For example my atom n270 gets only 335 pointers on both cores, my Athlon only gets 69 and 135 pointers, and my i3 system gets huge ones

haha awesome..was thinking about cobbling one of my old systems back together myself, after seeing this thread at the folding forum.

Adding one of those 430's would certainly make it worthwhile.

haha, I guess there is alittle nostalgia in using at least one old system. Though I tried today with the v7 client and still getting those A4s. The V5 seems to be the only one that gives me the older ones
