Hi. I've just got a few questions about upgrading W2k to Win XP. Just wanted to know because Win XP goes RTM friday and I'm probably gonna upgrade my w2k to it.

1. How will the filesystems be. Does it automatically convert FAT-32 to NTFS or do I get to choose? Also is there any disadvantages when converting a FAT-32 drive to NTSF 5.5 I mean do I lose any data or so when I convert.

2. Performance in games, movies? Better, worse, equal to w2k?

3. Can I use WMP 6.4 in Win XP (because the newer versions suck)

4. Is there still any candy interface options left even if I choose the classic w2k look for the OS? I hate the candy look.

5. Can I use only one account with Win XP. Currently I only have an administator account (well a few network accounts for my networks shares) and I don't want to create an administrator account and a user account for myself. I only want the admin account. Is that possible under Win XP?

6. Application compatibility? W2k apps work without patching, how about games?

7. Via 4in1 drivers needed or are they integrated into XP?

8. How much annoying features? (you know that easy to use stuff etc.)

9. Stability? Better, worse than w2k? I can currently keep my system running for many weeks without crashing.

10. 60hz problem in games fixed?

Thanks in advance :)

btw. I have 512MB of memory. I just can't upgrade my sig :)
