Windows 10 and the infinite spinning white dots on blue

Well. I have completely disabled Windows Update for the last two months because Microsoft renders it unusable with the updates KB3140743 and then KB3140768. I am not alone in this issue.

I'd rather go for at least a year without updates to see if they can get their crap together and fix this for all the people with the same problem than wipe the drive and reinstall from scratch (from Win7) and have to find and reinstall everything.

This is the worst MSFT has messed up my computer since WinXP when it first came out.

Follow the steps to hide the update and move on :D

The update includes the previous updates. How long can you avoid updating?:bleh: Would you wait til they release Redstone?

If that breaks it, then I'll consider avoiding that update as well. For as long as I can put it off. Stupid Microsoft.

If it was just me, then that'd be one thing. But there's a lot of people posting with the same issue, and all I ever see from MSFT responses are the same sfc, dsim blah blah and it never helps.
