XBOX Scarlett Insanity! Holiday 2020

Friend and I were talking about it last night at how it is an amazing deal and it's odd that Microsoft is still allowing it.... Then it dawned on us, what if the next console sucks and we're all stuck with it?

If you have a powerful pc, you don't need an xbox, just a ps that you use for exclusive because sony is stupid in not making pc versions of it's 1st party titles (exception for the Detroit Beyond Human like game outliers on epic store).

Community.
There is a much higher likelihood that your friends/family will have an Xbox than a gaming PC.

Game pass and games with gold.
I like that I can play random games that never reached the right price point for me.

Older exclusives with BC.

Convenience.
I have games on both that I am more likely to play on the xbox.

I think they may have knocked that idea on the head, There was no mention of it at E3, and was going to be less powerful than the Xbox One X. Lots of tech sites have come to the conclusion that it may have been shelved.
 
We'll see how this comes out. But if it has similar specs to the next playstation and Im only going to choose one its going to be the PS for the exclusives. Why would I get an xbox when I have a decent PC since theyre releasing all their exclusives on PC too?

Agreed.

I've been having a hard time justifying buying an XBox ever since the XBox One was released. That entire generation seems pointless if you also game on PC. I bought the XBox One, then Forza 6 and Forza 7...and that's it. I haven't bought another game and I've had it for many years now.

In contrast, I bought a PS4 Pro last year and have 11 games for it...
 
Will keep buying as long as the old games work on the new hardware, have over 400 games going back to the 360

Yep, I have no need for an xbox when I can get those games on PC. I will pick up a ps5 most likely, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.
 
Already have a Scorpio so I am not overly impressed with the new Xbox and PS5 so far. I will have to see them in action at the local Best Buy to see how big an upgrade they really are over what I have now.
 
The main improvements over scorpio are going to be more framerate related than graphics, imo. Graphics will prolly be only marginally improved.
