????? List Of What I need: ?????
- Cold Cathodes
- Power
- Mounting Things
- ect ?????

I want to know too. I been looking at these pics all day. As for the cold cathodes, they look like the same kind I put in my case. I got them from Frys. But they plug into a normal power supply. They mount with the double sided tape included in the package. But what I want to know is if this guy is using some other type of cold cathodes, not made for computers but for home design, planters, whatever. Something we can find at a Home Depot possibly? Anybody know?
if thats the case it probably comes with all the stuff needed, tubes, power, switches etc. Very nice setup that I plan to duplicate on a smaller scale with my desk at home.

BYTECC BT-200 USB2.0 to IDE Cable With Power Adapter - Retail

I am going to buy one of these. They sell these everywhere. IDE to USB adapters. They come with power for the IDE drive which is just what we want. Ive seen these as low as 14 bucks too. This one is 25 bucks but out of the 2 on newegg, this one looks like it should do the job and Im sure about the power cable.

TheDon Sep 12, 2005 01:21 AM

ok i stole the look. miniturized it. my last post. in this thread.
oh, used a 12v 1000ma adapter you can buy at any electronics or hardware type place, and soldered it to an extra molex. and the cold cathode tubes that go in cases. Still looking for a blue set.

It runs around 8-900 if you can find some coupons for Dell. I love it, its nice and big and supports component, svideo, composite, etc...

It runs native at 1920 x 1200 so I have a 7800GTX to push it and I am very pleased. HL2 looks awesome along with FEAR, BF2, etc...

I wouldnt hesitate buying this LCD again.

I have been working on a casemod of my own - I have never tried before - here are some progress pics - there is no actual computer yet and I also have done somethings to the front of it but haven't taken pics yet - I have a gatewatch and some cathode and fan controllers in the front now.

Here is my new rig (hardly new now, built this time last year, but recased in april) I've since added a an Arctic Cooling ATI cooler to the 9800, because I was so pleased with the AC Freezer 64.

Finally found some time to tidy up my room, and here's the results.

My main work rig, p4 3.6, 1gb cosair 533, pcx5900, audiotrak prodigy, raptor 36gb x2 and one 40gb maxtor 5400 crap. runs pretty fine, not blasing fast but is enough.

my secondary rig and my bench rig, p4 3.73ee/dual core 2.8ghz, 78gtx cosair 667 1gb and A64 3800+, 1gb TCCD hyperx with a couple of asus 6800Ultra on SLI

The black silverstone lc04 sitting on top was supposed to be my htpc but the svideo out on that Aopen i915GMm-HFS is horrible, I'm gonna swap the setup inside for an A64 3200+ soon. Currently, Pentium M 2.26, 1GB rams with everything onboard.

My File cum server. P4 3gig, 1 gb mushkin ram and a myriad of hard drives that makes up 1.4TB of hdd space.
