Well aren't we all very funny.....:p
And yes, Adam's setup is very nice indeed and the card you see in the pictures is a dedicated sound card since onboard sound sucks so much by comparison in terms of clarity and definition, not to mention that it's possible to replace the op amps to tune the card to the headphones i'm using for best possible results. |

![]() Doing some testing with PhysX on the Quad SLI vs dedicated shows little to no improvement. It was kinda crazy seeing 5 GPUs in MSI Afterburner though. |
What fans are those, Adam? How do they run with the H100?

The cooler is actually a Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme. It's made by the same company that makes the H100, Asetek. The Water 2.0 Extreme has a thicker radiator. 38.3mm vs 27mm. |
The h100 is a coolit product.

I might pick those fans up. I wonder if they would work OK if they were plugged into the H100 block? Since it has the fan control on it.
And yeah, should have looked closer. I assumed that if you were running a non-custom double radiator CPU cooler it had to be an H100, for whatever reason. |
Hi folks.
It's been a while since I built this gaming rig. Nothing much has changed since I built it back in April / May (Ivy + Kepler release). I wish I have more time to play around with my rig. As I travel overseas a lot, I mostly get to use this PC only once a week or two. :( Anyway, this is strictly a gaming PC. I don't even use this PC for web browsing or anything. It only gets powered on when I want to play PC games on it. Pretty much like a game console. Recently replaced mouse and pad and loving it. :D Happy Christmas. Hehe.. The roses are not my work. They are from my daughter.
|
Great, clean setup! The walls are a little funny, though.
What's the name of that case? Edit: Nevermind, found it. =D |

Went through pulled the PC apart, cleaned it up, added some fan filters to the intakes up top. Rewired, cleaned, etc, etc. Added a red light out of boredom too.
