Looking at this, the graphics and atmosphere seem so ripe for SP.

The game looks good, but is MASSIVELY unfair to those starting. The higher level players have access to better gear and guns and will flat out murder you over and over again. Most of the time you are wandering around then you just drop dead, having absolutely no clue how you died until you watch the kill cam. There are cheaters too which doesn't help. Probably why the game hasn't taken off as much as it should, it can be maddening when you are starting off.

Yeah once you get over the gfx and start getting the gameplay mechanic it loses its appeal. Tried a few times to like it but dead after wandering around felt cheap.

End of the video talks about that very point.

Yeah, this game will never be more than a niche'. It's just too hard core for the average crowd.

I wonder if they could use the AI and build a SP campaign, I’d be up for that , anyone else ?

Just played two rounds, with two friends. Those were my very first two rounds of Hunt: Showdown.
On the first, we encountered enemy players, and I killed two of them with my rifle. We fought over a basement. On the second, the enemy players were around, but we never saw any of them.
Both games, we extracted with one Boss's tokens in possession. So, good start?
