This has been posted elsewhere a few times.. But its the best picture taken of my little gaming area, with setup, and maplookerupper machine. Perfect for long nights and EQ2. As well.. A corner of a Kingwin case sits behind where I sit in the pic. Thats Jaymes.. If she'll let me, I'll take a pic of her setup sometime.
Edit : There are TWO (yes TWO) optical drives in my rig. One of my favorite mods. Has a paint stripped (and tried to polish) Vantec fan speed controller on top, and skulls, knives and flames etched in the side window. ![]() |
Well, I have some pics...not of my desk area, but of the transformation of my rig. From Junky K8NS-Ultra 939 mobo, to the Neo2 Platinum. 6800 OC, to X800XT AIW...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I dont really like to organize wires. I have enough airflow to get the air past the wires. hehe Lazy I guess. ![]() See? Its kinda blurry, I coughed when I took this picture. lol LVS |
The cables look like they want to strangle you.

How loud is your computer elchico? You could probably get it to fly if you put all the fans in the right places.
Taking pics of my comps now, not v interesting tho |

** Extreme Jealousy Warning **
 I decided I wanted an HTPC for my bedroom... Sometimes I'm tired or have a headache and just want to lay down to watch sh*t but I mostly watch downloaded stuff sooooo.. Here's my VHS Tape Drawer HTPC (case cost = $0 ;) ) ![]() ![]() ![]() Everything is attached to a piece of hard cardboard with either screws or through holes with zip wraps :) That piece of cardboard then fits perfectly into the combined vhs drawers. These pictures don't show it (cuz I hadn't added them yet) but I have 2 fans in the front of the drawers and they suck in fresh air up under the handles. There are no holes visible from the outside... except in the back. I was going for a quiet/hidden look so all the fans are runnin at 5v too. At the moment I'm controlling it with my gamepad (use a joy-to-key app that does mouse too http://www.vector.co.jp/authors/VA016823/ ) until my infrared receiver gets here. |
Nice job alpha. I want to make a custom modded case like that. Useing something out of the ordinary.
