That Sonata 2 is a very nice case. I picked it up from Lupine on the boards and built a 3rd computer for my daughter with it!

Trunks0 Apr 14, 2006 01:24 PM

I had wanted one for awhile as I keep my computer in my room. I have also found these sonata's are a pretty nice case to work in imho. Plus its quieter, cooler and nice looking than my old case :)

Well it seems I did not post any pictures of the laptop I picked up in January.

This laptop is not only based on the ATI 200 chipset but contains the AMD Turion(TM) 64 ML-44 (2.4GHz/1MB L2 Cache) processor which hit the market on January 4, 2006. That is one fast processor. The AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego also runs at the same speed (2.4Ghz) with the same amount of cache.

The graphics is not steller and the memory is not dual-channel. But hey... this is a laptop.

HP Pavilion dv8000z series notebook

Dynamike Apr 16, 2006 10:02 AM

I like the ID that the PCI slot's have those brackets with holes in it. looks cool too.

mobilemadness Apr 21, 2006 09:52 AM

Case snap TRD.

The outside isnt much to look at so here's the inside (sorry about cable management :nag:) with my modded PSU :D

Here are some updated pics of the innards of my computer. I've got a new video card coming (eVGA 7900GT KO) so it'll look a little different in a few days, but not by much. I might post an updated pic then. Anyway, here are the pics:

Oh that's where that cut cable-tie went... *looks at third picture*

That makes me cry:cry:.

I like the cooling and the huge heatsinks on the cards.

Dynamike May 12, 2006 05:02 PM

Here are some updated pictures.

i will make some better ones later this weekend.

Sound is great, i allready dumped my stereo tower wich had 230 cm bass speakers and some bookshelf speakers. This set sounds way better and play's loud as Hell!

Did a quick OCZ overclock test and it did 250 with ease.

The controlers for sound are great and very handy couse you can do some great settings with it without having to switch for example from game to desktop and visa versa.

The keyboard is nice too, but still need to configure it.

Well the rest in the system kicks ass too (see sig for that)

I've Seen loads of your rigs have water cooling. I was thinking of geting it mainly because i was told it was silent. Just wondering if thats true or is it just as noisy as having fans?

It depends. To have a really quiet watercooled PC, you need high quality fans and rather big radiator area. SilenX fans are extremely quiet. My ear is 3 feet from my computer, but I have to concentrate to hear it. The birds outside my closed window make more noise...

Everything else is dirty and at the moment my cable management sucks and I'm too lazy to fix it; so, side shot:
