It really doesn't look like that, for some reason the camera on my phone made the image look questionable. Here's the same screen but up a bit closer to show the difference between the image above and what it really looks like:

I suppose my choice for wallpapers didn't help... :bleh2:

took me a while to get it up and running, and even longer to take a couple crappy shots. here it is, hoping it meets the strict R3D standards as well.
thanks to all here who help me pick the parts, caveman especially.

I've got the same desk, but in black.. I will never give it up

Lurk May 29, 2011 10:57 PM

lol, I got it at IKEA many years ago and it's perfect!
It came with a metal stand you could screw to the side and secure the pc case on it, as I did with my previous machine. My actual one is too big and so it rests on the floor.

I should have picked up more of the accessories for it before they stopped selling it. All I have is an attachable swivel shelf thing. I could use a second long shelf

I don't know how you managed to keep the cabling that clean in an Antec 1200. I'm pretty impressed. It looks good.

It's a Gateway case I picked up at Best Buy when it was on sale, I'm surprised how much I like the case all things considered (I've since swapped out the internals, it's barely recognizable from the OEM's config).
