At first I thought they were going to make it real-time, but it turns out it was pre-rendered. That's what took away my anticipation for it.

Well...Capcom japan had a nice 640x480 video of the game, but they have since removed it from their site.

They still have a 320x240 link up.

Not really my kind of game, but it looks awesome. If it sounds anything like that vid clip, it sounds great too.

And the controls are perfectly fine, i have absolutly no problem with them, and ive never even played a RE before. Set the controls to setting 3 and thats what i use, itsa perfectio.. STOP YOUR WHINING!!!!

Its only the background that is pre-rendered many reviews say that it works very well with the other things in game that are pure pixels

Darkblack just doesnt seem to have the kind of 'atmosphere' that would be needed.
might just be an early build so it could get better in time.

Yhea, the game looks like beefed up PSOne visuals. Did you play any PSOne RE games? Is it a lot better or does it still have jagged edges?

RE is probably the best looking game on any console right now, prerendered backdrops or not.

It's a remake, yes, but only about 30% of the original puzzles remain. The story is the same with 2 new endings, and Chris and Jill are the playable characters. Other than that, it's pretty much a whole new game.

Still, if you didn't like past RE's, you're not gonna like this one as it's an RE game 100%

RE is slimply amazing I think its looks wonderful definatly a nice release for the gamecube I love how they made the zombies mutate after you kill them to a more powerful creature of the undead

and as for the controls I think they are fine its just the GC controllers are so small but the Qubicon makes up for that! Definatly the best looking console game I have seen so far! Besides my fav FFX.
