Awesome, I thought they gave up this project. It sounds like there is still a LOT of work to do before its much use but its good to hear someone is working on it.

I say go out and buy a n64 instead. Instead of wasting over 200 bucks for some wack ass p2p. I bought my n64 2 years ago from ebgames for 22 dollars and the n64 games around my way only cost 5 - 10 dollars.

I think that Sony has done a lot (and done it right) to discourage homebrew. I'm not sure this project will last long.

Oh yea i forgot what the p2p is lol. Well if you dont mind spending 200 bucks or so, just to carry around a small game console, fine. But to me its like a waste of money.

I luv video games, but i dont luv it enough to carry the sh** around from time to time. Now if i were to travel somewhere , i would just yea carry my xbox and n64 and dreamcast around, no biggie. People do it all the time.

Well, there are plenty of people who do like to have a small console that they can carry around. That's why they make them.

More like a portable video player with the benefit of playing 3D games. There's just not much compelling software on this thing.

I guess my opinion has a little more weight when Gamespot more or less agrees with me. Obviously they're not going to outright bash the PSP, but the overall tone of the video is that of underwhelmed enthusiasm. This just came out.

I dunno. I've loved all 28 PSP games that I've owned and there are currently 15 titles that I want, but that I obviously can't play or afford all at once.

I also use my PSP a lot for video and music.

I'm a 0 on the homebrew though, at least until these emulators run great and not crippled.

That's all fine and dandy...But at least try to make the distinction that just because one does not find a certain product appealing does not mean that one hates the product. Can you say that even though the Gamespot editors give negative impressions about the PSP, that they are considered "haters"? I'm very critical of the PSP, but I don't hate it in the truest sense. I just don't find it appealing, for gaming at least.

So stop tossing around the "hater" label every time someone criticizes a Sony product (you like how I passively labeled you right there?).

PSP has few good titles out, most are ports of ps2 or xbox1 games. Tales of Eternia and GTA Liberty stories is about the only good games out for the machine.

PSP was the biggest waste of cash ever for me, few good games, crappy ass laggy screen.
