Kinda excited to see AMD pass intel this time since the 2000's but we know so much about the cpus already... Unlike Navi 20 this one has leaked quite a bit. Hoping to see a few surprises tho.

I was pretty excited until they showed the head to head with Intel 10900K and the 5900X and most of the games at 1080P were only 2-6% faster. Ehhhhh....

Only 2-6% faster, but couple hundred bucks cheaper.

The cost uplift of $50 bucs isn't much of a thing because their always sales and the price always comes down.

Surprised they didn't hit 5Ghz.

Ah, I was comparing back when I was looking. Both the 3900X and 9900K were the same price, or near enough it didn't matter. But the AMD motherboards were far more expensive...

It was cheaper to build Intel by $150-$200 for the same boards/parts.

I hope that was the mid range one. Not enough info on big navi yet. We'll have to wait for 3 weeks more again.

5.0Ghz is huge for marketing purposes. I'm surprised they didn't hit that target. Lots of Tech-Muggles when they buy a PC just look at that number.

I guess I would also like to know how zen 3 is against a overclocked 10900K. I’m thinking they will be close, and I would guess we are still stuck at hardly any change in gaming performance at 4K.
