Default "ships on"...?
dumb question:

when a website (say ebgames.com) refers to a product that "ships on" a specific date, what exactly does "ships on" mean? Does it mean that the product leaves the manufacturers warehouse on this date or does it mean that retail outlettes will be releasing this product for sale on said date?
