SciFi Movie buffs...need help finding specific movie

When I was a kid, I remember seeing a SciFi movie that I wish I could remember what it was. This was sometime in the late 70s/early 80s.

Okay, so the storyline is gonna freak some of you out, but here it goes:

From what little I remember, homes were all "automated"; completely run by a computer of sorts. I guess the story focused on one particular lady/family or whatever. Anyway the lady was trapped in her home by this AI, and eventually the AI "raped" and impregnated the lady.

That is all I can basically remember, but one part that is pretty vivid in my mind was at the end, the lady is giving birth to a humanoid/robotic thing, and its first words were in the same voice as the AI of the home which said something along the lines of "I am alive."

Anyway know this movie?

I *think* I found it. From what very little I remember, it sure sounds like a movie I found called "Demon Seed".

Okay, so I am a sick bastage...Now I wonder where I can rent it...

oh, so that's what they parodied in that simpson's halloween episode where pierce brosnan does the voice of the house AI. i was sure i would have found it more amusing had i known just what the hell they were paroding... and now i know.
