![]() AMD (NYSE:AMD) today announced new desktop processors including AMD’s fastest quad-core desktop processor. These processors join AMD’s award-winning 8-series chipset and recently launched AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 series graphics for PCs that enable vivid high-definition experiences in 3D with GPU-accelerated multimedia performance. With these latest technologies, gamers and PC enthusiasts can enjoy The Ultimate Visual Experience™ on a new PC featuring VISION Black Technology from AMD. Pricing for the Phenom II X4 975 BE is approximately $195 USD, but not yet announced for the Phenom II X6 1065T. Updated pricing can be found here, when it is released. |

![]() By the Emperor, AMD has finally reached a retail CPU stock clocked at 3.6Ghz on a 45nm process, god damn I was really getting tired of this "overclock your 3.2Ghz to 4Ghz" bullcrap. I am guessing that this time they are really confident that Bulldozer is going to be 32nm and its going to be majorly (really really really this time unlike the ditching Windsor for Barcelona) leap in CPU performance. ![]()
