Interiors have very dark areas requiring a light to see. Not sure why they would keep outdoor areas brighter? Maybe the guys have their brightness set high to be able to see better at night?

Pretty sure it was exactly the same in the first dying light. In doors was way darker, because outside had ambient lighting. it also got darker or lighter depending on which night it was.

Okay yea I got a friend in the industry whos playing it right now, and sent me screenshots of at night time (cant post it cause technically NDA). Looks like that other guy who played preview was wrong. (my friends playing final build). There are dark ass areas that are like the first game. Hope meter slowly going up.

Looks like it is a good game but it might be worth waiting for a patch or two before playing it since it is also a buggy game.

But it looks like the pc version is the most polished one, as techland can just push out patches whenever they feel like it.

Fun gameplay with crappy story...sounds like an Ubisoft game and I am okay with that. Also RTX and DLSS features for my way-too-expensive video card to utilize.

Can't see the "Fixed co-op corrupting save games" in there, that was called out. Some performance issues to look like and world not being 'solid' under foot in places.

Was going to bite but since decided to wait yet again for a game to be fixed before release post release and pre purchase.

DSOGaming has a little pre-release performance analysis on a 3080. Sounds like both DLSS and FSR are poorly implemented here. So glad they are zero day patching at least the DLSS part.

interestingly, acg and skillup both found fsr to double their performance (they didnt have access to dlss at the time), and it was the raytracing that was badly implemented.
