I should have found this thread a few weeks ago. I FINALLY got around to finishing (bought the game in 2017), and the whole time I played I wished I could increase the FoV and turn off the damn blur. If the PC version is handled well, it will be awesome.

This is one game I am stoked to play on my OLED. It was great on the PS4 but damn my PS4 sounded like a jet engine and I had to turn off HDR. Also the colors in this game are phenomenal so with the PC connected to my TV and a controller in hand I will feel absolutely at home with this game.

reports of it from various people and Digital Foundry of being a **** port, they said perforamance even at original settings (ps4) with much beefier cards where not where they should be, and that's just one of the problems.

Video out soon, so we shall see for sure.

Day 1 patch didn't help.

Sad to see some are reporting the port is not that great. I was assuming it would run similar to Death Stranding seeing that it uses the same engine.

Well I wasn't planning to get it right away anyways so works out for me, especially since I'm still running an older GPU. Hopefully by the time I get around to buying it will be better optimized.

DF also said the PS4 Preset also doesn't run that great considering how powerful the Base PS4 is versus the cards that are multitudes faster.

Hopefully it's wrong and it's just certain configs that run like ass, but eh, wouldn't surprise me

This game literally cost only 1/4 of death stranding on my steam region and I'm still not interested, it looks too damn generic of a console/multiplatforms 3rd person shooter/action game that we've seen thousand times since ps3 Gen.

) HZD is about as not generic as it gets, next to titles like Ghost of Tsushima, TLoU and others.

The story is second to none. It requires a lot of exploration, listening to logs, reading etc, but it's pretty potent. And the gameplay was just incredibly well done.

I'm far more interested in tsushima because it's a historical based aaa game set in japan, although obviously the gameplay is as generic as most mainstream hack and slash action games out there.

It really isn't

I get where you're coming from regarding finding a game that satisfies though. I have my own niche that makes it difficult for me to be happy with anything else, but even so, HZD (and Ghost Of Tsushima) changed the way I look at that type of game.
