changing secondary monitor (external monitor) resolutions
Using XP 5801:
Please let us know when there's support to change the secondary monitor. The secondary is stuck on the generic Default Monitor driver. This is much needed.
It says it's 100Hz in 1024x768, but it's really 75Hz. 100Hz in 800x600 is 90Hz.
I really hope it can do real 1280x1024x85Hz on external monitor someday. The thing is screwy. Only the primary monitor is identified correctly, but it's still limited to 1024x768 maximum resolution.
Other than this problem, extended display was something I never thought there would be drivers for (with the ATI Mobility M1). Pleasantly suprised. Currently using the secondary monitor to play movies at 800x600 because the 75Hz at 1024x768 is stressing/killing my eyes.
