![]() Bah, I'm still using my Old Old Old Old PC with my ATI Mach64 in it. It's very good for old DOS games. Who needs Need For Speed when you've got Test Drive? Or Warcraft3 when you've got the original Command and Conquer and Dune2? |

Not quite sure what they are, but I found some video cards which were used for PS1 development I'm told, I'll need to get some pics as they are *massive*. The company just recently moved offices so I've had to sort all the old systems crap which has been building up for years, some really interesting looking graphics card! The Hercules Stingray 3D is another one that caught my eye, massive PCB with an add on board as well. Need to get some pics on Monday, it's quite impressive how much graphics cards have , well and most PC components have moved on since then. John

![]() Here's a question for anyone who knows about video cards. Assuming that heat generation and power supply wasn't a problem, how far would you have to overclock an old Mach 64 to make it as fast as a 9800 Pro?

![]() Good ol' Mach 64. I went rumaging through my old hardware boxes and found a Mach 64 with 1 MB VRAM. Cost an arm and a leg back then ![]() Pretty green PCB with the ability to expand up to 2 MB's of VRAM! By today's standards, if you were to buy the extra MB of VRAM for that card, you could have purchased a brand new Opteron 246. ![]() Gotta admit though... playing Duke Nukem 3D on an old 486/66 @ 640x480 SVGA mode was mind-blowing back then ![]() ![]()
