Default Need New Napster

I am looking for a program that works as good as napster. I cant use Napster anymore because its really hard to find songs. I tried Rapigator but its really slow and I usually have to try 20 different users to get a song to work. Anyone know a good prgram?

I use (at the moment) AudioGalaxy and KaZaa. They aren't as good as Napster for finding high quality music, but I usually can at least get the songs! I can't get BearShare or Gnutella to work for some reason. It won't connect to any servers!

Good luck,
K-Max

Not the right board but instead of just whining and not answer the question, well I'll just answer

Limewire is pretty cool and fast, it works on the Gnutella network.

Yeah, Audiogalaxy is good. What's good for dial-up users is that if the server or the host is disconnected in any way, Audiogalaxy finds the same version of the song for you with another user.

WinMX is the best i've seen. It works just like napster, it even connects to the napster servers, and dozens of OpenNap servers people setup. www.winmx.com

The resume function actually works, really well, you can resume download from a different source if you want.

Post Bearshare

I use bearshare at the moment. I can always find songs, and bearshare is great because i can find any type of file, including mpegs and prOn
www.bearshare.com

P.S. I have an ADSL connection. A buddy with dialup tried it and said it was hard to get anything.....

Audiogalaxy Satellite..

Works great if you have a high speed connection. I have been able to get almost every song I've searched for, right away. It's a bit different to use, and maybe a little awkward. But it's great for finding rare songs and remixes as well..

If your using Bearshare or another Gnutella clone, try LimeWire. The latest one is by far the best Gnutella clone I've tried. Lots of options like leech protection, getting just videos or audio or pics. Very cool.
