Exclamation Nintendo working on 25 "secret" titles as well as a "special racing" game?

http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.c...n=item&id=2174

Nintendo Benelux (the official Nintendo site for the Netherlands at www.nintendo.nl) announced this tidbit of info. Wow, 25 titles that have not being announced previously being developed AND a "special racer" game. I suppose the racer is probably a new version of F-Zero or that GT-killer that Rare has been hinting at for a while. I found some pics of tech demos from last years spaceworld that look like they could be preliminary work for this racing game. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Added the rest of the pics from the website. I removed the ones that are similar to ones already shown so it doesn't get redundant.

Like very shiny matchbox cars (you know, as soon as you get them new? They never look like that after a few days of crashi--I mean playing ).

I don't know if thats finished or Work in progress. I have to see it in motion. so far it still looks like a computer generated image or a Toy car. The PS/2 still has the best raceing game I have ever seen GT3. Xbox has sega GT but in action it looks real cars still look like toys. But I am not makeing a conclusion until I see them finished. i dosn't look like they applied many textures to the vheicle itself yet.

There's been rumors that rare or NST was working on a realistic racer ala GT, but i think they are refering to a sequel to Stunr Race FX here, and no, its not just a guess, unless the source is lying, which would be a first.

Stunt race sequel, without the big eye balls on the cars of course

I think it will be a while before anyone can make a game that can compare to GT3. I say to that company, good luck.

If there's one company that can pull it off, its Rare, they have the financial incomes enough to get all the car licenses, which is something that would stop most developers to try making a GT "killer"

GT3 has many many flaws, it wouldnt be so hard to exceed it, but it would cost alot to get all the licenses.

Nintendo themselves won't make a GT-like game but Rare certainly could (or a few others) The GameCube is capable of better graphics than a PS2 and could pull off a GT3-like game with ease...you just need a developer with the resources and the time...like RARE
