More or less, yes. With tax and shipping, the asus nexus approaches the kindle fire price.

Do you still get $25 in google play money? I love they included it with the Nexus. I would never have purchased anything if it wasn't for that because I am a cheap son of a bitch.

The lack of a rear camera is a big letdown, but I am planning on modding a rear camera.
