* Based on the 7-992-040303m-014319c Leaked Driver set
-:Newer drivers dated March 03/2004
-:Newer CP version - 14319
* Updated spanish language support
* Fixed all installation problems
* Deleted Control Panel Files that were not
- needed anymore (reduced file size)
* Added support for:
-:Radeon 9550 SERIES (RV350LX)

Who cares? Maybe it means that it is a different revision? For example, Abit NF7-S ver 1 then
Abit NF7-S ver 2....

must be based on the catalyst 2.5 uuhh catalyst 30 uuhh hno mix of 2.5 and 3.0 ?

the 2.3 stands for the DNA release and the 4.3 stands for the WHQL release (normaly but and i could have called it 2.2.4.3b but it's not based on a CAT 4.3 set bt on a newer set)

the 2.3 stands for the DNA release and the 4.3 stands for the WHQL release (normaly but and i could have called it 2.2.4.3b but it's not based on a CAT 4.3 set bt on a newer set)

Let’s just put it this way... With it named that way a lot people will mistake your first 4.3 based set and its performance with this one as well (intentional or not) It’ll taint the opinion/results pool. Many won’t even account for the basing on leaked confidential betas, and boost the beta drivers may (and according to posts I have red) do give...

Some one says hey I’m using 2.2.4.3

Now tell me if they are using 2.2.4.3 (4.3 officials) or 2.2.4.3 (BETA) with out asking... You can’t tell that’s my point.

well, not entirely sure if these are better than the 2.2.4.3(cause i don't usually benchmark). visually i don't notice a difference in speed or quality, but it seems to be pretty solid drivers.

I just installed these drivers and they work great. Smeerak and Neon cowboy, stop crapping the thread. We know about your animosity towards Killersneak but why don't you grab a life and leave it alone?

Digi, his posts belong here, there is no "driver forum" anymore, it was renamed to "Catalyst technical support" and only catalyst-related problems are discussed there (which means no modified drivers).
