If your company is making a funny commercial...atleast make it funny

What's with all the craptastic "funny" commercials these days? The only ones that make me laugh are the hilarious ones at superbowl time, and the new one futureshop has where the guys at his pc in boxers looking at porn, his wife walks down the hall and asks what he's looking at and he can't close all the windows in time, so he flips the monitor down on the keyboard and then it says "get a laptop"

Other then that, there's been nothing remotely funny except attempts poorly made obviously by old english guys, who have no sense of humor at all. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had a brilliant idea for a commercial, or a way to make a "funny" commercial, not suck.

It's time for the marketing department to un-**** itself.

I like the geico commercials, they're funny (caveman ones are well done)

I loved the toys r us commercial where the mom gets GT4 and the kids are running down then you see the dad, he jumps over the banister and lands on a table, I've falled through tables and it's pretty much the same way

I also love the dell commercial where the guy is doing his taxes and he starts air drumming, I have been caught the same way twice, right after another,I guess I can relate to that

, sadly I don't know the song in that commercial yet it feels so familiar.

i love that car commertial with the kill bill music on the background. They must be hip and cool to have music from a hit movie 2 years ago.

The funniest commercials seem to be the local variety. Down here there are commercials for the Rockets (basketball) and they are of this dude and his basketball. The ball taunts the guy, helps him, and gets him into trouble. There is one where the guy gets up to goto the bathroom (he is in a sportsbar) and he leaves his ball on the bar. The ball says "Don't worry, I'll watch your spot". This other guy comes in and sits in the ball's friends seat and the ball says "Yo, my partner is sitting there".....(short silence) "HEY! I said my partner is...." Then the ball rolls over a little bit and spills the guys drink in his lap. He gets up and goes away and a second later the other guy comes back from the bathroom and says "What did I miss?". The ball says "Oh just playing a little D"

True vary few are funny. And even fewer are funny every time you see it.

Personally my favorite are those "Thanks ShowSase" commercials. They are only on during the much later hours of TV but they are pretty damn funny. They say things like "I'm where womens underwear, Thanks ShowCase" or "We just had threesome with are boss, Thanks Showcase". This makes allot more sense though if you knew the type of programing the stations shows at later hours mind you
