I'm in serious need of new games. Can ya'll recommend me something sweet? No MP or CO OP related games. Below is my steam game list.

Prey and sniper elite 4 are on my wish list right now.

dirt 4 is pretty good. (rally focused)
sniper elite 4 is best in series imo
Hellblade Senua's sacrifice is widely loved (i think it's decent)

I have been thinking of shadow of Mordor for some time and I don't know why. Is it similar to the witcher?

No, its more like Mad Max and the Batman Arkham / knight with awesome middle-earth theme and enemy system. Way better battle-mechanics than witcher (not similar). Check the youtube videos about battle.
